Elementary Choir Club (Grades 3-4)EnrichmentCome join the 3rd and 4th grade after-school chorus! Ms. Bellman, the elementary music teacher, and Mr. Parker, the middle and high school choir teacher, will lead the chorus from 3:00-4:00pm on Thursdays in the Prairie Woods Music Room! This fun and engaging program offers students the chance to explore their love for singing, build teamwork, and develop their musical skills. This experience will culminate with a feature performance TBD in March. All are welcome. Commitment: Perform at the special music concert (date to be determined)Winter 2025-2026 -
Firearm Safety Classes (Must be 11 years old by test date)EnrichmentIf you are planning on hunting then this course is a must. Trained members from Izaak Walton League and the Community will spend 6 evenings with you and show you the correct and safe way to handle your hunting firearms. Pre-registration is required and attendance at all sessions. Plan ahead for your fall hunting!! This class is only offered in the winter/spring!! Participants must be 11 years old by time class finishes! You must pre-register. NLS students will receive the State/Parent permission form prior to classes starting and must fill out and return to the Community Ed Office before the 1st night of class. Non-NLS students will need to have a parent/guardian with the first night to fill out the permission form. No permission form returned/no classroom training! An additional fee will be due when you register online to receive your certificate. ALL classes must be attended. Range Testing: Saturday Location place and times TBD. More info will be sent home with the students prior to testing day. Parents must provide transportation to and from range. NO refunds once registered.Fall 2025 -
