Culinary STEM: Edible Petri Dishes - Exploring Microorganisms through STEM & Snacks (K-4th Grade)

In this hands-on STEM class, young scientists will explore the fascinating realm of microorganisms by creating their own edible Petri dishes. We’ll simulate the shapes of bacteria using tasty ingredients and learn about the different types of microbes. Perfect for curious minds who love science, creativity, and snacks. No lab coat required—just bring your imagination and appetite!

REGISTRATION FEE: Includes all supplies, ingredient + SNACK

Students should have a note to ride the shuttle bus to the high school. Instructor Ms. B (Char) will meet the students at the bus and bring them to the High School FACS Room. Parents pick up at 4:30pm at the "Middle School" door on the front side of the High School (closest to the Performing Arts Center main entrance).
