(Char) will meet the students at the bus and bring them to the Middle School Commons Area. In this creative class, youth will decorate cookies inspired by sunny beach days and fishing adventures. From seashells and starfish to fishing poles and colorful catches, each cookie becomes a playful canvas for imagination. Participants will learn simple decorating techniques, experiment with vibrant colors, and bring their summer stories to life through edible art. After making their own batch, participants will enjoy tasting their creations together—and the best part? Rainbow Smoothies (Completing K-6th Grade)ABC's (Arts, Baking & Crafts)Get ready to blend, taste, and create! In Rainbow Smoothies, youth will explore the colorful world of smoothie-making while experimenting with different types of blenders. Each participant will design their own smoothie according to their unique taste preferences, mixing and matching fruits, vegetables, and other wholesome ingredients. Fee includes supplies and ingredients. Along the way, they’ll discover the four key elements of a nutritious smoothie: Base – choosing liquids that set the foundation Fruits & Veggies – adding natural sweetness, flavor, and color Protein – boosting energy and fullness Extras – superfoods, spices, and toppings for creativity and health This hands-on class encourages creativity, healthy choices, and teamwork, while teaching practical kitchen skills.
