Cub Kids serves children ages 3–5 and offers a high-quality, inclusion-based preschool program designed to intentionally prepare every child for Kindergarten success. Cub Kids is a fee-based preschool program held from 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on school days and follows the New London-Spicer School District calendar*. Tuition is billed monthly on the 15th, with the option for families to pre-pay if they prefer not to commit to a single larger monthly payment. To support families’ schedules, before- and after-school care is available through our Lil’ PALS program: Before School Care: 7:30–8:15 a.m. | $5/day After School Care: 3:00–5:30 p.m. | $8/day Our Mission The mission of the Cub Kids program is to invest early and intentionally in every child through exceptional teaching, inclusive practices, and a deep commitment to safety and care. Our program is led by MN licensed teachers who are READ Act certified, and supported by highly qualified paraprofessionals who meet the guidelines outlined by the MN Department of Education. All staff are trained in First Aid, AED, and CPR, ensuring a safe, supportive learning environment for every child. Through developmentally appropriate instruction, intentional daily practice, and individualized support, Cub Kids focuses on nurturing the whole child—socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. We believe all children deserve a safe place to grow, be challenged, and thrive. By honoring the unique strengths and needs of each group of learners, we make it our personal mission that no child starts behind and that children enter Kindergarten confident, capable, curious, and exceptionally prepared to succeed. *Cub Kids follows the New London-Spicer School District calendar, with the exception of Election Day, when there is no preschool in session.

Throughout the school year and summer, NLS partners with Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center to bring you exceptional offsite programming. Please note that transportation is not provided to PWELC in the summer and only to PWELC in the school year.

All 6x renters will receive Free Rentals anytime they are at Powder Ridge. Free rental will begin AFTER the first trip date. (A $10 fee will be charged to anyone wanting to change their equipment from a ski package to snowboard package for vice versa or for losing their rental card.) Participants may forget their rental card TWICE during the season. Removal from the club will result due to behavior problems, not following NLS Code of Conduct, removal from school, smoking, alcohol, drugs, or leaving the premises. Parents will be asked to pick students up at Kimball and no refunds will be given for missed evenings.
