Everyone MUST ride the bus to and from Powder Ridge (unless written notice is received for student to ride with a parent by Friday morning at 9am of each week)· Students must be picked up by 9:45pm at HS Gym Doors (If student is not picked up they will not be able to attend the next week.)· This is a school function—all participants must adhere to the no tobacco, drugs or alcohol policiesNLS reserves the right to refuse anyone the right to participate with the club. Removal from the club will result due to behavior problems, not following NLS Code of Conduct, removal from school, smoking, alcohol, drugs, or leaving the premises. Parents will be asked to pick students up at Kimball and no refunds will be given for missed evenings. Springtime with Eric CarleECFE ClassesJoin us for a fun filled class all about spring featuring songs, play, crafts, and stories by Eric Carle. You will get one-on-one time with your child, time with other parents, and opportunities to meet new friends. This class DOES separate. Parents and children will explore together during the first half of class. The second half of class will consist of parent discussion time in the parent room, while children stay in the classroom with a teacher. Then, after a tasty dinner break generously provided by our instructor Ms. B, we’ll get back to the fun by crafting adorable Cupid-inspired cake pops. Swing/Two-Step Combo Dance Class (16 and older)Recreation & LeaguesThis is a Swing/Two-Step Combo Class Have you always wanted to learn to dance or gain confidence? Have a wedding or school dance coming up this winter? This is your chance! Find a partner and dance throughout the year. You will learn how to get in your exercise and put a smile on your face. This class is designed for new dancers or those with very little dance experience. You will be taught the basics steps, turns and much more. Teens, College Students and Adults are welcome. Having a partner is necessary to get the maximum results from this class. Wear smooth shoes for better movement. You will be able to use your new gained experience to dance to Big Band, New and Old Country, Country 2-Step, 60, 70, and Rock.Class fee is per couple. The instructor for this Class is Mike Klein.
