Looking for a safe and structured environment for your child this summer? Lil' PALS is the place to be! We have daily activities and weekly themes planned for our summer kiddos! We incorporate STEAM, gross and fine motor skills, arts and crafts, gym and outside time into each daily schedule! Activities are geared to excite and extend your child's interest and learning development, while providing a safe and fun environment. Snacks are included in the daily routine. We offer a morning and afternoon snack! Lil' PALS kids are required to bring their own lunch in summer. Lil' PALS does not transport kids to any off-site activities. Lil' PALS will transport if an activity is in the same building or on the same grounds as Lil' PALS and with the appropriate request, prior to any registration deadlines. Lil' PALS Summer Rates are: $45 per day, per child. The weekly rate is $180 for One Full Time Child. Please note: You may make changes to your schedule throughout the summer. All changes to a calendar will need to be made 72 hours before the day you are requesting, in order to avoid extra Lil' PALS fees. Drop-ins are available in Summer but must be pre-approved. The Middle Fork Crow River Watershed District (MFCRWD) and Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center (PWELC) are once again partnering to get people out on the Crow River in New London. Participants will meet at the New London Boat Access at 9:00 a.m., paddle up through the Mill Ponds, and return by noon. We will provide canoes, paddles, life jackets and river knowledge for our adventure. Afterward, everyone is welcome to join us for lunch at Goat Ridge Brewing Co. The Bernick's Pepsi Premier Summer League provides the opportunity for competition and strengthens the awareness of the game of basketball. Shooting, ball-handling drills, defense, and other skills are important for the individual to practice, but it's just as important to work as a team member to develop the total player. This tournament is for players already on an organized team. Players must communicate with their coach, as the coach will register the entire team at one time. There are limited spots available, as first priority will be given to teams that played in last year’s tournament. This is an “invitational” tournament only. Coaches/Teams that played last year will have priority and will be sent a registration link. Teams: Coach will register the full team and shirt sizes. Girls going into 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and JV grades are eligible to play. There is a separate league for each grade level. (Limited to 15 participants per team - per our roster) The recommended team size is 10-12 girls. Games: Round Robin Tournament Format, Playoff game on the final week. It houses an orchestra pit, a state of the art sound/lighting system, a combination of 32 electric and manual operation stations, a 50 foot fly loft, a green room, large make-up/dressing room(s), a set design workshop, and features a custom-designed, removable orchestra shell.
