Pickleball is a racket sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three and four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wifffle ball, over a net. All equipment is provided -- all you do is show up in gym clothes and tennis shoes and be ready to move! Looking for a safe and structured environment for your child this school year? Lil' PALS is the place to be! We have daily activities planned for our school year kiddos! We incorporate STEAM, gross and fine motor skills, arts and crafts, gym and outside time into each daily schedule! Activities are geared to excite and extend your child's interest and learning development, while providing a safe and fun environment. Snacks are included in the daily routine at After School programming. All Before School kiddos are brought to breakfast after our morning programming concludes. Breakfast for all registered Cub Kids Preschool kids is served at 8:15am. Lil' PALS Before School Rates are: $4 per day, per child. Lil' PALS After School Rates are: $7 per day, per child. Please note: You may make changes to your schedule throughout the month. All changes to a calendar will need to be made 72 hours before the day you are requesting, in order to avoid extra Lil' PALS fees. An example includes: If you want programming on Friday at 7:30am, you will need to add that day in your account by Tuesday at 7:30am to avoid the drop in fees. Drop-ins during the school year are $8 in the morning and $10 in the afternoon. Prairie Meadows Learning CenterCub Kids PreschoolCub Kids serves children ages 3–5 and offers a high-quality, inclusion-based preschool program designed to intentionally prepare every child for Kindergarten success. Cub Kids is a fee-based preschool program held from 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on school days and follows the New London-Spicer School District calendar*. Tuition is billed monthly on the 15th, with the option for families to pre-pay if they prefer not to commit to a single larger monthly payment. To support families’ schedules, before- and after-school care is available through our Lil’ PALS program: Before School Care: 7:30–8:15 a.m. | $5/day After School Care: 3:00–5:30 p.m. | $8/day Our Mission The mission of the Cub Kids program is to invest early and intentionally in every child through exceptional teaching, inclusive practices, and a deep commitment to safety and care. Shamrock Cookie Decorating (K-4th Grade)ABC's (Arts, Baking & Crafts)Get ready for a sweet and festive adventure! In this hands-on class, kids will learn the basics of cookie decorating while celebrating the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. Each participant will receive a set of shamrock-shaped cookies and all the supplies needed to transform them into edible works of art.
