Join us at Alley on Ash each month for some fun on the lanes. We will have a chance to bowl 2 games each time and have fun with our friends. Fee includes 2 games, shoe rental, a chaperone on site, a slice of pizza and juice. Parents pick up at 5pm at the bowling alley. Students should have a note to ride the shuttle bus #37 to the Alley on Ash. (First bus in line at Prairie Woods by the flag pole) Students will meet in the Prairie Woods Gym and then go to the bus.

If you are planning on hunting then this course is a must. Trained members from Izaak Walton League and the Community will spend 6 evenings with you and show you the correct and safe way to handle your hunting firearms. Pre-registration is required and attendance at all sessions. Plan ahead for your fall hunting!! This class is only offered in the winter/spring!! Participants must be 11 years old by time class finishes! You must pre-register. NLS students will receive the State/Parent permission form prior to classes starting and must fill out and return to the Community Ed Office before the 1st night of class. Non-NLS students will need to have a parent/guardian with the first night to fill out the permission form. No permission form returned/no classroom training! An additional fee will be due when you register online to receive your certificate. ALL classes must be attended. Range Testing: Saturday Location place and times TBD. More info will be sent home with the students prior to testing day. Parents must provide transportation to and from range. NO refunds once registered.

K & 1st graders join instructor Libbie Anderson at Little Cats Arts & Crafts Club to try out your artistic abilities and have lots of fun! There will be a different hands on project each time. Students should meet the instructor Libbie in the Prairie Woods Gym and will then go to Art Room. Parents pick up at the flag pole door at 4pm.

Join our MS Art Teacher and get creative. Think outside the box in the world of art. You will have different projects to work on each class. Art Club members have created displays and bulletin boards in the school and expanded their knowledge on how to use several different medias. Students can report directly to the MS Art Room.

This Culinary STEM class is designed for kids to learn some Biology/Chemistry concepts as well as learning cooking techniques. We will be making 2 edible crafts: Edible DNA as well as Wintery Popcorn. Let's have some fun while we cook, eat and learn about DNA, Genetics and Popcorn Chemistry. Fee includes all supplies and ingredients. Students should have a note to ride the shuttle bus to the high school. Instructor Ms. B will meet the students at the bus and bring them to the High School FACS Room. Parents pick up at 4:30pm at the "Middle School" door on the front side of the High School (closest to the Performing Arts Center main entrance).

We are all about hands-on and fun activities! Weekly projects provide each student opportunities to expand their science knowledge and unlock the mysteries of the natural world. Students can report directly to Ms. Johnson's room 216 after school. Parents pick up at the Main Middle School Entrance at 4:15pm. No school - No Science Club

Helmet rental is now available for Ski Club Members. This is helmet rental for the 2025-2026 Ski Season.

Lessons are group style for beginners and only offered the first two weeks of the program. Students who have never skied or snowboarded are encouraged to take advantage of these lessons. There are NO lesson make-ups for any of the three sessions missed. Also, we will only start first-time skiers or boarders in the program group lesson on the first and second weeks of the program because after that second week, class participants have advanced to a point where a beginner would not fit in.
