Open Cages for baseball grades 5-8. Get a jump start on your game. Join us for some early hitting in the MS Gym Batting Cages. Please enter at the Fitness Center Doors. Cages will be overseen by the Green Lake Baseball Assn. Season pass is good for all weeks.

2nd, 3rd & 4th graders join us at Cats Arts & Crafts Club to try out your artistic abilities and have lots of fun! There will be a different hands on project each time. Students can go directly to the Prairie Woods Art Room. Parents pick up at the flag pole doors at 4pm.

Join the New London-Spicer Varsity Blackcat Dance Team for 2 fun-filled afternoons learning a dance to be performed on Thursday, March 26th at 6:30pm in the High School Auxiliary Gym (Sloppy Joe Supper Night). To avoid distractions we please request no spectators during class time. K-4th grade students should ride the shuttle bus to the Middle School. Dance staff will meet the students at the bus and bring them to the Performing Arts Center. Middle School students can report directly to the Performing Arts Center Lobby. Please bring a snack for practices. Parents pick up after practice at the Performing Arts Center Main Entrance at 5pm. Dancers please Wildcat colors for the performance.

If you are planning on hunting then this course is a must. Trained members from Izaak Walton League and the Community will spend 6 evenings with you and show you the correct and safe way to handle your hunting firearms. Pre-registration is required and attendance at all sessions. Plan ahead for your fall hunting!! This class is only offered in the winter/spring!! Participants must be 11 years old by time class finishes! You must pre-register. NLS students will receive the State/Parent permission form prior to classes starting and must fill out and return to the Community Ed Office before the 1st night of class. Non-NLS students will need to have a parent/guardian with the first night to fill out the permission form. No permission form returned/no classroom training! An additional fee will be due when you register online to receive your certificate. ALL classes must be attended. Range Testing: Saturday Location place and times TBD. More info will be sent home with the students prior to testing day. Parents must provide transportation to and from range. NO refunds once registered.

Join Sadie Williams for play and exploration. This class is for any children 3 and under, with an adult. During this half hour children can explore and play on the equipment. There will be no direct instruction, but a coach will supervise and be available to answer questions and guide as the children explore the gym and equipment. Enter at the doors off the High School Auxiliary Gym plaza. By the football field/on the backside of the school.

Climbing offers a chance to challenge yourself both physically and mentally at your own pace. Beginners can learn about the sport, exercise, and have fun! Experienced climbers can come train and refine their skills. The Prairie Woods ELC instructors are here to help every climber reach new heights! Equipment will be provided. Join the high school cheer coaches and cheerleaders for 3 fun-filled afternoons learning a combination of sideline and competition cheer material. Practices will be held on Mon, Tues and Thurs after school until 5pm. They will perform a 2-3 minute routine at the late varsity basketball game on Friday, February 6th. Prairie Woods should have a note to ride the shuttle bus to the Middle School. Cheer staff will meet the students at the bus and bring them to the Middle School Commons Area (just inside the middle school entrance). Middle School students can report directly to the Middle School Commons Area after school. Students may be dispersed to different areas of the building for practice. Parents pick up at 5pm at the MAIN Middle School entrance (on the tennis court/playground side of the building). Students will be asked to wear Wildcat colors for the performance and arrive at 7 pm and report to the High School Cafeteria. Performance will be during halftime of the 7pm varsity basketball game on February 6th.

In this imaginative STEM class, students will dive into the world of simple machines, design thinking, and creative problem-solving as they build their very own Leprechaun Traps. Using everyday materials like string, cardboard, pulleys, and popsicle sticks, kids will learn the basics of engineering while applying physics and math concepts in a playful, holiday-themed challenge. Join our MS Art Teacher and get creative. Think outside the box in the world of art. You will have different projects to work on each class. Art Club members have created displays and bulletin boards in the school and expanded their knowledge on how to use several different medias. Students can report directly to the MS Art Room.

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art.
