Flag Football - Adults (5 on 5)Recreation & LeaguesOpen to 8 Teams! Wednesday Nights: 7:30pm and 8:15pm Start times. Games are 45 minutes. Teams will play two 20 minute halves with a 5 minute break between. Bonus Week: Oct 21st for top four teams. Games Played on NLS Turf under the lights. Players will play ½ field games. Teams can be any combination of men, women or co-ed. 5 on 5 league. 5 Weeks of regular season, 1 week of Playoffs for all teams. NLS Walking ClubRecreation & LeaguesAre you looking for a safe warm place to walk without having to worry about the outside elements? Join the NLS Walking Club. The Middle School and High School are available during school days from 3:30 until 8:00pm for walking. No School/No Walking Club. Start walking while waiting for kids at activities. Get out of the house during the winter months to get some exercise. The doors are open so come on in. Please register as a walker in the building. Pickleball is a racket sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three and four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net. All equipment is provided -- all you do is show up in gym clothes and tennis shoes and be ready to move! Whether you're new to the game or have played for years, come celebrate community, sportsmanship, and Diane’s joyful spirit. For anyone ages 10 and up. A Diane Hagedorn Memorial Pickleball Tournament presented by New London Waterdays. Location: New London-Spicer High School tennis courts. Backup location if inclement weather will be Prairie Woods Elementary School. First match starts @ 2pm. Two person teams. Pool play followed by bracket play, minimum of 5 games.
